Description

Specifically engineered for use with leadcore and heavy-duty leaders, the Thinking Anglers Leadcore Safety Top Beads provide the ultimate in fish safety for helicopter-style arrangements. These 5mm beads are impregnated with tungsten for maximum sinking weight, ensuring your leader stays pinned to the lake bed. The internal bore is designed to fit securely over leadcore but will pop off the top sleeve easily should the mainline break, allowing the fish to be freed from the lead.

This ‘top bead’ is a critical safety requirement for helicopter and Chod rigs. The added tungsten weight helps to eliminate the risk of the leader ‘kicking up’ and spooking wary fish. Finished in a discrete, non-reflective camouflage colour, these beads are an essential high-performance component for any responsible angler who prioritises fish welfare and technical rig presentation.
