Description

The META ‘Chods Away’ Rigs are the ultimate ready-made chod rigs, designed for anglers who want convenience without compromising performance. Perfectly tied using ultra-reliable 30lb memory hooklink material, these rigs maintain their curve and shape, giving you that essential rotation and reset capability that makes the chod rig so effective—especially when fishing over weed, silt, or debris.

Each rig is built around the critical components that make a chod rig deadly: a sharp, reliable carp hook aligned at the perfect angle and a stiff memory hooklink to help the hook spin and catch hold. Whether you’re fishing with pop-ups or creating a hinge stiff rig by tying it to a boom section, these pre-tied chod rigs offer exceptional presentation and consistent performance.

Available in two versions to suit different angling situations:

• Short (1 inch): Ideal for more discreet presentations, or when fish are feeding lower in the water column.
• Long (2 inch): Offers increased flexibility and movement, great for fishing over deeper weed or softer silt.

These rigs are perfect for use with helicopter or chod rig lead systems—just slide one on, add your lead, and you’re ready to cast. For anglers who want a hassle-free, professional-grade setup, the META ‘Chods Away’ Rigs take the guesswork out of chod fishing.

Whether you’re new to the chod rig or a seasoned angler looking to save time without sacrificing quality, these rigs deliver premium performance straight from the pack. Reliable, efficient, and fish-ready—everything you’d expect from OMC’s META terminal tackle range.
