Description

The Korda Wide Gape is one of the most famous and successful hook patterns in the history of carp fishing. Its iconic shape features a wide gape, a medium-length shank, and a slightly in-turned eye, creating an aggressive hook-up angle that is effective for a huge variety of rigs. Whether used for a simple hair rig, a blowback rig, or for fishing with pop-ups, the Wide Gape provides a secure and deep hook-hold that is incredibly difficult for fish to eject.

The hook is manufactured from a high-grade wire that offers immense strength and is finished with a non-reflective coating for total underwater stealth. The point is needle-sharp for instant penetration. It is a high-confidence pattern that has been used by many of the UK’s top anglers to land the biggest carp in the country. A truly versatile and reliable hook that should be in every tackle box.
