Description

Korda Shot on the Hook is a subtle but highly effective rig additive designed to significantly increase the “flipping” action of your hook. By adding a small, tungsten-impregnated weight directly onto the shank of the hook (typically near the bend), you shift the center of gravity, forcing the hook point to drop downwards the moment the bait is inhaled. This mechanical advantage leads to more consistent hook-holds in the bottom lip and makes it much harder for carp to eject the rig once sampled.

These specialized “shots” are easy to slide onto the hook and stay firmly in place even during long-range casting. They are finished in a discrete, non-reflective colour to blend in with the hook and the lake bed. This simple addition can transform a standard hair rig into a highly aggressive and efficient presentation. It is a favorite for technical anglers who want to maximize every opportunity and ensure their rigs are performing with elite-level mechanics.
