Description

The Korda N Trap DF Rig is a premium hair rig designed specifically for use with bottom baits and wafters. Tied using the world-renowned N-Trap Soft coated braid, it offers a semi-stiff property that prevents tangles while remaining supple enough to allow the hook to move naturally in a fish’s mouth. This version utilizes the legendary Wide Gape hook, known for its incredible penetration and secure hook-holds. The coating is stripped back near the hook to create a “hinge,” allowing the hook to flip and grab hold instantly.

This rig features a specialized silicone sleeve over the eye of the hook, which acts as a line aligner, forcing the hook to turn downwards for a perfect bottom-lip hold. Tied to the exacting standards of Danny Fairbrass, this rig is a favorite for match and specimen anglers alike. It is a reliable, high-performance presentation that takes the guesswork out of your fishing, providing a high-confidence setup that is ready to catch big carp on any venue.
