Description

The Korda Longshank Beaked hook is a technical pattern that combines the superior hooking properties of a long shank with the secure holding power of a beaked point. The elongated shank provides a massive mechanical advantage, causing the hook to flip and turn instantly when the bait is sampled. The addition of the beaked point makes this hook far more durable when fishing over gravel or hard bottoms, as the point is less likely to be “turned” or blunted by underwater obstacles. It also provides a very deep, secure hold that is difficult for fish to eject.

This hook is a devastating choice for Blowback rigs and technical bottom-bait presentations. It is manufactured from a high-quality wire that offers excellent strength-to-weight ratio and is finished in a non-reflective coating. For the angler who wants a hook that combines aggressive turning with the ultimate in point protection and holding power, the Longshank Beaked is a premier choice.
