Description

The Korda Kurv Shank is one of the most versatile and effective hook patterns ever designed, featuring a sweeping curve that eliminates the need for shrink tube to create a line-aligner effect. The inward-turning eye and the aggressive curve of the shank force the hook to flip over and catch the bottom lip of a carp the moment the line tightens. This makes it an incredible choice for a variety of rig presentations, including the popular Blowback rig, KD rig, and standard hair rigs. Its wide gape and sharp, in-turned point provide exceptional penetration and secure hook-holds.

Manufactured from a high-carbon steel wire, it offers immense strength without being overly bulky. The non-reflective coating ensures the hook remains discrete on the lake bed, avoiding spooking wary fish. It is a high-confidence pattern that has accounted for a huge number of big carp globally. For the technical angler who wants a hook that offers perfect mechanics and reliability straight out of the packet, the Kurv Shank is a staple choice for any session.
