Description

Specifically designed for use with stiff hooklink materials like Mouth Trap, these Kamakura Choddy hooks are the ultimate choice for Chod and Hinged Stiff rigs. Featuring an out-turned eye and the legendary post-production Kamakura sharpening, they provide an optimal angle for hooking fish when using high-buoyancy pop-ups. The point is exceptionally fine, ensuring that the hook penetrates easily even with the most cautious of takes.

The wax-protected point ensures that the hook remains in factory-sharp condition until you are ready to fish. The Choddy pattern is built to handle the biggest carp, offering incredible strength and a secure hold. When combined with the extra sharpness of the Kamakura range, this hook provides the confidence needed when fishing “at range” or over large beds of bait where every take must count.
