Description

Korda IQ2 is a softer, more supple version of the original IQ fluorocarbon, designed for anglers who want the invisibility of fluorocarbon with a more natural movement. While it retains the high-density, fast-sinking properties and low-refractive index of the original, its increased flexibility allows the hookbait to behave more naturally on the lake bed, making it harder for wary fish to detect any rig resistance. This makes it an incredible choice for creating subtle “all-mono” rigs or for use on venues where a completely stiff boom might be too conspicuous.

The suppleness of IQ2 makes it much easier to tie than traditional stiff fluorocarbons, bedding down perfectly with Knotless Knots or Grinner knots. It is an ideal material for targeting big, pressured carp in clear water where presentation is everything. Despite its softer feel, it remains highly abrasion-resistant and durable, providing a professional edge for technical rig construction on any stillwater or river venue.
