Description

The Korda Choddy hook is specifically designed for the demands of Chod rigs and Hinged Stiff rigs, featuring a unique out-turned eye that creates the perfect angle when used with stiff hooklink materials like Mouth Trap. This design ensures that the hook flips and turns the moment it is inhaled, providing an aggressive and secure hook-hold. The Wide Gape pattern and slightly in-turned point offer incredible penetration and the strength needed to land the largest of carp in demanding conditions.

Manufactured with a discrete, non-reflective PTFE coating, these hooks blend into the underwater environment and stay incredibly sharp for long periods. The out-turned eye also prevents the stiff material from closing the gape of the hook, which is a common issue with standard patterns used for stiff rigs. Whether you are fishing over “choc” weed or on a clean gravel spot, the Choddy hook provides the mechanical advantage and reliability that has made it a favorite for many of the world’s most successful big-fish anglers.
