Description

Specifically designed for fishing over deeper silt or taller weed, the Korda Chod Rig Long provides the necessary clearance to ensure your pop-up remains highly visible and accessible to feeding fish. This longer variant is tied using Korda’s signature Mouth Trap stiff filament, which allows you to manually adjust the curve of the rig to suit your preference. The length of this rig makes it a devastating choice when used in conjunction with larger, high-buoyancy pop-ups, creating a presentation that stays “live” even in the most challenging underwater environments.

Every rig is tied with the iconic Choddy hook, featuring a non-reflective coating and a surgically sharp point for maximum penetration. The inclusion of a smooth-turning ring swivel ensures total movement, allowing the hook to spin and grab a deep hold regardless of the angle of the take. For the angler targeting big carp in overgrown or neglected venues, the Long Chod rig is a must-have tool for consistent success.
