Description

This 10m spool of Basix Coated Hooklink is a versatile, semi-stiff material designed for creating a wide variety of modern carp rigs. The supple braided inner core is protected by a tough, camou-green outer coating that provides just enough stiffness to kick the hookbait away from the lead system during the cast, virtually eliminating tangles. This material is incredibly easy to work with; the coating can be stripped back easily using your fingernails or a stripping tool to reveal the soft braid, allowing for perfect “hinge” movements or the creation of Combi-rigs.

The camou-green finish ensures that the hooklink disappears against the bottom, whether you are fishing over silt, weed, or gravel. It knots exceptionally well with standard knots like the Palomar or the Figure-of-Eight loop, maintaining high integrity under pressure. For the angler looking for a reliable, no-nonsense coated braid that offers professional-level presentation at a Basix price point, this is an essential addition to the tackle box.
