Description

The Gardner Specialist Hand Sharpened Covert Talon Tip Wide Gape Hooks represent precision engineering at its finest. Each hook point is meticulously hand-sharpened to create the legendary Talon Tip profile—a wickedly acute needle point that delivers instant, aggressive penetration on the take. The wide gape configuration provides enhanced hooking potential and superior hook holds, particularly effective when fishing bottom baits or critically balanced presentations over clean lakebeds.

Finished in Gardner’s signature Covert coating, these barbed patterns offer reduced visibility on the lakebed whilst maintaining excellent anti-glare properties. The hand-sharpening process ensures each hook meets exacting standards before leaving the factory, giving you complete confidence when targeting specimen carp in pressured venues. The barbed design provides additional insurance during intense battles, ensuring fish stay pinned even when fighting hard near snags or weedbeds.
