With its elevated abrasive content, the Point Doctor 2 removes slightly more material per stroke, making it ideal for those who need quick touch-ups before recasting. Despite its increased firmness, it remains forgiving—ensuring you maintain control while sharpening, reducing the chances of turning over or dulling the point.

Each pass over the hook removes a fine layer of the plated or coated surface, polishing and refining the point for better penetration and more reliable hook holds.
