Description

The ESP Barrel Bobbin Kit is a versatile, precision-engineered bite indication system designed to perform flawlessly in all carp fishing situations. Manufactured in the UK to the highest standards, each component (except the ball chain) is machined in ESP’s own factory, guaranteeing exceptional quality and consistency.

Featuring a distinctive barrel-shaped design, these bobbins stand out from conventional cylindrical styles—offering both functionality and visual appeal. Each kit includes two stainless ball chains, each featuring a plastic connector at one end and a 3g stainless connector at the other, allowing the chain to be reversed to add extra weight as needed. The 3g stainless add-on weight, which integrates neatly into the hockey stick, further enhances versatility—giving PTFE bobbins adjustable weights of 5g, 8g, or 11g, and acrylic versions of 3g, 6g, or 9g.

This system adapts effortlessly from light slack-line setups to heavier tight-line fishing at long range. The interchangeable ball and grip clips allow anglers to choose between a running-line setup or the ‘Elstow style’ for more secure bite indication. For optimal performance, the 3″ ball chain is ideal when fishing short drops near the alarm.

Sleek, adaptable, and built for precision—the ESP Barrel Bobbin Kit delivers reliable bite detection and refined performance for every carp angler.
